Brendon Clark began riding calves at age 6, steers at age 10, and bulls at 13. A family friend taught the young cowboy how to ride, but it's been Clark's role model, Troy Dunn, who's helped him improve his technique as a professional. "I always liked Troy Dunn's riding style and attitude, and, of course, the fact that he is from Australia. Troy has help give me pointers on what I'm doing right and doing wrong," says Clark.

Known to PBR fans as the "Australian sensation," Brendon Clark burst onto the elite Built Ford Tough Series during the 2003 season. Clark has made a name for himself ever since by consistently placing in the top ten at PBR events. He won his first event in August of 2004 in Oklahoma City. "Winning the Oklahoma City event really confirmed for me that all the hard work is worth it. It is definitely my proudest bull riding moment," states Clark.

This fan favorite captivated the audience at the St. Louis BFTS event in February of 2005 when he became the first cowboy to ride Little Yellow Jacket (Berger/Teague/Taupin Bucking Bulls, LLC.) in 2005. "I rode him for 91 points in the short round. It was just an honor to ride him—there's not many guys who can say they've rode a three-time bull of the year."

Clark was also one of three of PBR's top riders that participated in TLC's series, BEYOND THE BULL in 2006. The series followed young contender Brendon Clark, JW "Ironman" Hart, and then two-time World Champion Adriano Moraes as they lived their lives at home and on the road to compete in the PBR's elite Built Ford Tough Series events.
